Julian Lousada

Julian Lousada is a psychoanalyst in private practice and was the former Clinical Director of the Tavistock Clinic's Adult Department.

He studied Social Policy at London School of Economics and was a social work postgraduate at Sussex University. Has been Chair of the British Psychoanalytic Council and the British Psychotherapy Foundation. Julian has a long standing interest in organisations and continues to offer organisational consultations. He has staffed and directed Group Relations conferences both nationally and internationally.

Julian has published papers and most recently together with Professor Andrew Cooper  published “Borderline Welfare: Feeling and the fear of feeling in Modern welfare”.
